Natural Light

When looking at the photographs I have taken for this class and in the past, one thing that stands out to me is my constant use of natural lighting. Through out my 20 photographs I have used natural light to show silhouette, color, shadows and finally reflections.  I have always preferred the use of natural lighting when taking a photograph, and it always amazes me how the time of day or weather can drastically change the photograph and its mood. One thing that I always found to be intriguing was playing with the angles of the camera and where the sun was in reference to the object or scenery in the potential photograph, once again the suns location ultimately seemed to make the picture special by highlighting or emphasizing certain things within the frame. While each of these photos are unique and can stand alone in different ways, I feel as though the natural lighting in each picture is what truly makes the photograph special.
